I realize that gender equality is not only present in areas outside of our "liberal" country, but also in our own schools and homes. It makes me feel more pumped about doing something to spread more equality, but I don't know what...

I'm soooo glad you are feeling pumped up about this issue!  One thing you can begin doing is being an example of an empowered young woman in your own life.  Maybe you'll start a campaign at your school...maybe you'll help my friend Zebiba build her next school in Africa...stay open and you'll get the guidance!
